Move, ETA, Archive, Bulk Actions: Managing Jobs
Move jobs through stages, set or update ETAs, archive completed work, and run bulk actions across multiple jobs at once.
Moving a job to the next stage
On the job detail page, click the next stage button (e.g., "Move to In Progress"). The customer is immediately notified via SMS and/or email.
You can also:
- Skip stages — use "Jump to a specific stage" to move directly to any stage
- Go back — use the "Back to..." button to move to the previous stage
- Add a note — include a message with the status update that the customer sees
Setting an ETA
Use the date/time picker on the job detail page to set when the job will be ready. The ETA appears on the customer's tracking page. If the ETA passes, the customer sees "Running a bit behind schedule."
On My Way
For mobile/on-site businesses: when the next stage is an "En Route" or "On My Way" stage, a quick-action button appears directly on the jobs list. One tap advances the job and notifies the customer.
Archiving jobs
Completed or cancelled jobs can be archived from the job detail page. Archived jobs move to the Archive tab and can be restored at any time.
You can also bulk-archive: click Select on the jobs list, check multiple jobs, and archive them all at once.
Bulk stage moves
In select mode, you can move multiple jobs to the same stage at once. Use the "Move to..." dropdown to pick the target stage.
