What countries does FixyFlow support?

FixyFlow is built in Canada and serves the United States and Canada. SMS works across the +1 North American Numbering Plan; email notifications and tracking pages work anywhere in the world.

SMS coverage: US and Canada

The SMS side of FixyFlow runs on Twilio's US A2P 10DLC infrastructure plus Canadian short-code routing. That covers customer phone numbers in the US, Canada, and the +1 NANP region.

For customers outside +1:

  • The tracking page works in any browser, in any country.
  • Email notifications fire normally, with the same content and template.
  • SMS is simply skipped, and the system falls back to email if you've collected one.

International SMS support beyond +1 isn't on the immediate roadmap. The compliance overhead of multi-country SMS is heavy, and most FixyFlow customers run local trades in North America.

Where FixyFlow is based

FixyFlow is built and operated out of Collingwood, Ontario, about two hours north of Toronto on Georgian Bay. Lasse Pettersen is the founder and sole developer. It's a focused independent product, not an investor-backed platform play. In practice that means the roadmap is driven by real operator feedback rather than a venture pitch, and support requests reach the person who built the feature. You can read more about Lasse on the founder page.

Privacy and PIPEDA compliance

Because FixyFlow is built and operated in Ontario, its data handling is structured around PIPEDA, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. The privacy policy at fixyflow.com/privacy details what data is collected, why it's collected, how long it's retained, and who it's shared with (Twilio for SMS, Stripe for billing, Resend for email, PostHog for product analytics, Sentry for error tracking).

Practical notes for operators on either side of the border:

  • Customer phone numbers and job notes are stored in a Postgres database hosted in a managed cloud environment.
  • Customers can request their data be deleted at any time via the unsubscribe link in any SMS or by emailing support.
  • FixyFlow's only "personal data" footprint on the customer side is name, phone number, optional email, and the work description you enter for the job.
